Ronit Schwartz, MSN, RN, APRN
Nurse. Entrepreneur. Speaker. Author.
Bedside toBoardroom.
My career didn’t follow the path I thought it would. Looking back, I realize every place I went was preparing me for the next one.

Nurse by training. Entrepreneur by an unexpected turn.
A little about me
I never planned
any of this.
I actually didn’t want to be a nurse.
I wanted to be a pediatric doctor and figured nursing would get me halfway there. Instead, I fell in love with nursing.
I earned my undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and became a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, then moved into nursing education and administration.
Then life took me somewhere I never expected: business.
When I became Co-Founder and COO of Aryeh Strategic Partners, I was a beginner all over again. I knew nursing. Business was an entirely new world.
What I eventually realized was that I wasn’t starting from zero.
The things I learned at the bedside — how to listen, prioritize, advocate for people and stay calm when everything feels urgent — came with me.
I never really left nursing.
I took it with me.

Bedside to Boardroom:
More Than Numbers
Bedside to Boardroom: More Than Numbers brings together two worlds that once seemed completely unrelated: nursing and business.
It is the story of what happens when the lessons learned caring for people become the foundation for building companies, leading teams and making difficult decisions.
It is also about the places in between — the waiting, the uncertainty, becoming a beginner again and realizing that where you started may have prepared you for far more than you imagined.
Be the first to know when Bedside to Boardroom: More Than Numbers is released.
Entrepreneurship
Building something
of my own.
Eddie and I built Aryeh Strategic Partners around a pretty simple idea: business could be done differently.
People, process, responsiveness and relationships became the foundation of the firm. In two years, we grew more than 400%, entirely through word of mouth and referrals.
It reinforced something I learned years earlier in healthcare: people remember how you make them feel, but they also remember whether you show up when they need you.
